Overview

As a Site Manager on a Tier 1 contractor’s secure site, you will lead critical construction activities, ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery. You’ll manage site logistics, coordinate a multidisciplinary team, and support project managers on larger schemes. You’ll apply safety systems, monitor budgets and progress, and collaborate across project management, commercial, operations, and suppliers. This role offers exposure to high-stakes builds and a clear path to progressing based on performance.

Pay / Benefits

• salary 45,000 – 65,000 plus package

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver site-based project work and support Senior Project Manager on larger projects
• Lead and coach a multi-disciplinary team including trade contractors
• Ensure customer specifications, safety, quality, and project objectives are met
• Monitor budgets, cost control and cost recovery
• Develop short-term programmes and track progress
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project management, commercial, operations, and health and safety
• Maintain safe systems of work and drive improvements
• Apply H&S legislation and coach others in incident investigation

Key requirements

• SMSTS-qualified Site Manager
• CSCS Card
• proven track record of managing site logistics and operational delivery in construction or related environments
• strong health and safety knowledge and ability to apply H&S systems
• flexibility to work on complex projects and meet strict deadlines
