Civil Engineer – Infrastructure

Overview

In this role you will contribute to delivering civil infrastructure across sectors from concept to construction, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop sustainable solutions. You will work on highway and drainage designs, liaising with authorities and stakeholders to ensure quality, budget, and programme alignment. You’ll learn from seasoned engineers while supporting project delivery and driving innovation. Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver highway and drainage infrastructure designs
• Contribute to projects from concept through detailed design to construction
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients
• Liaise with local authorities, highway and drainage authorities, utility companies and other stakeholders
• Support project delivery to programme, budget and quality requirements
• Contribute to sustainable and innovative infrastructure solutions
• Support and learn from experienced engineers and technical specialists

Key requirements

• BEng/MEng in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Experience delivering civil infrastructure projects, ideally in a consultancy
• Experience in highway and drainage design
• Knowledge of UK standards and infrastructure design principles
• Experience on multidisciplinary projects
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Collaborative approach and enthusiasm for developing career
• Experience with Civil 3D and InfoDrainage advantageous
