Overview

In this role you manage a portfolio of concurrent projects across sites, ensuring health, safety, quality, cost and programme alignment with client standards and CDM requirements. You will lead site delivery teams, manage risk, and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships to protect the company’s reputation. Working within JLL Workplace Management, you’ll contribute to safe, efficient project delivery on varied sites and help realise commercial performance. This is a hands-on role for a qualified trades or engineering professional who thrives on complex, multi-site projects and safe delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver projects with values ranging from 20k to 5m within NEC3 framework
  • Provide health and safety leadership and promote behavioural safety improvements
  • Support project risk management and implement controls for safe, timely delivery
  • Ensure compliance with MS18, CSO6 and CS06 requirements and current delivery programme
  • Manage supplier, subcontractor and direct workforce adherence to policies (HSE, QA, engineering standards)
  • Collaborate with Senior Design Manager to ensure robust, constructible designs
  • Engage with client Project Managers and consultants to align with programme and cost plan
  • Maintain project documentation (CVR, status updates, post-completion deliverables)
  • Ensure works meet relevant British Standards and client standards
  • Develop and nurture key stakeholder relationships to protect and enhance reputation
  • Provide input for quotations and estimates and support opportunities to improve commercial performance
  • Communicate effectively and present a professional demeanour across teams
  • Keep SharePoint project status and CVR information up to date

Key requirements

  • City & Guilds /NVQ construction related qualifications
  • SSSTS / SMSTS
  • JIB / BESA
  • CSCS Card
  • First Aid
  • 10 years experience in a Senior Project Manager role or above
  • Strong administration and organisational skills
  • Practical building/construction/BSI knowledge
  • Experience managing Health and Safety across multiple sites
  • Experience working in occupied buildings/campuses
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Understanding of programming techniques and ability to write programmes
  • Experience with Asta, Microsoft Projects, Primavera
  • Experience with Fieldview or similar QA software
