Electrical Engineer

Overview

In this Electrical Engineer role, you will deliver planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a London site, contributing to high service standards. You will work with Mitie engineers, subcontractors, and clients to keep systems compliant and performing. You’ll update CAFM records, support urgent requests, and be part of a dependable, safety‑mocused team. Responsibilities

• Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical/building services
• Coordinate with Mitie engineers, subcontractors, and clients to resolve issues
• Ensure risk management procedures are followed and documentation/CAFM updates are completed on time
• Maintain proactive client liaison and escalate concerns as needed
• Participate in standby rota for emergencies outside normal hours
• Demonstrate teamwork, leadership, and a proactive attitude while upholding high standards

Key requirements

• Substantial practical experience across building services, LV systems, standby generators, and environmental systems
• City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
• Experience in estates or facilities management environments with LV networks and standby generators
