Overview

In this role you drive Klarna’s PSP partnership strategy and own end-to-end relationships with PSPs to unlock growth. You work with product, engineering, and risk teams to ensure seamless integrations and value delivery. You’ll identify new partnership opportunities and lead cross-functional efforts to expand payments capabilities. This is a fast-paced role with a strong emphasis on strategy, negotiation, and impact across markets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and evolve the PSP partnership strategy to align with global product and geographic goals and identify where to deepen relationships
  • Own end-to-end PSP relationships including contract terms, SLAs, and implementation roadmaps
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, operations, risk/compliance, and GTM teams to ensure compliant, scalable integrations
  • Monitor PSP performance, build dashboards, identify improvements, and drive value across the portfolio
  • Be the subject-matter expert on PSP capabilities, market trends, and new business models
  • Spot opportunities to expand partnerships into embedded payments, alternative payment methods, and new markets
  • Manage risk, compliance, and card-network mandates with networks, acquirers, and regulatory teams
  • Evangelise Klarna’s payment strategy internally and secure resources to support partner success
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior partnership resources

Key requirements

  • 5+ years in business development, account management, or sales
  • Experience in payments, technology, and/or ecommerce
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Self-starter with a appetite for learning and ambiguity
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
