Responsibilities

• Develop fire strategies for diverse building types
• Perform fire engineering calculations and modelling
• Advise on fire safety design and Building Regulations compliance
• Review architectural drawings for fire safety implications
• Conduct site inspections and fire risk assessments
• Coordinate with approval bodies and stakeholders
• Produce technical reports and presentations
• Lead discussions with design teams, building control and fire services
• Engage in industry conferences to stay current with trends

Key requirements

• Background in fire engineering, preferably in a consultancy
• Bachelor in Fire Engineering (or related field)
• Strong understanding of UK fire safety legislation and Building Regulations
• Experience preparing fire strategies and technical reports
