Overview

In this role you lead the Cardholder Service portfolio in Europe, shaping strategy, P&L, and scalable growth. You act as the regional product authority, coordinating with Global Product, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to drive revenue and competitive differentiation. You will own the roadmap, commercialization, and vendor governance, guiding multi-market rollout and regulatory alignment. You will lead a sizeable product team and partner across functions to embed Cardholder Service into broader GTM strategies. The position offers impact at scale, shaping a key payments service across 30+ European markets.

Responsibilities

  • Own Cardholder Service roadmap, commercialization, and P&L for Europe
  • Lead regional product authority; align with Global Product, Core Consumer, Sales, Marketing, and Operations
  • Drive sales enablement, scaled implementation, and operational excellence across 30+ European markets
  • Resolve complex commercial, vendor, or regulatory issues impacting portfolio performance
  • Lead a team of 15+ product and program managers
  • Shape multi-year product vision for Cardholder Service in Europe
  • Identify and commercialize new Cardholder Service propositions with solid business cases
  • Embed Cardholder Service into broader Go-to-Market and platform strategies
  • Ensure executive governance and stakeholder alignment across major initiatives
  • Own portfolio profitability, pricing strategy, and vendor spend
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery from launch to steady-state; drive standardization across markets

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in Product Management, Product Development, or Sales/Account Management
  • Deep payments, financial services, or cardholder benefits industry experience preferred
  • Proven track record commercializing products at scale across multiple markets
  • Executive-level stakeholder management and influence in a matrixed organization
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate insights into profitable growth
  • Proven vendor management, contract negotiation, and delivery oversight
  • Demonstrated people leadership for high-performing product teams
  • Analytical rigor and data-driven decision-making; Voice of Customer and benchmarking
  • Clear communicator with ability to articulate strategy to senior leadership
