Business Applications Platform (SAP) Analyst

Overview

In this role you will support, maintain and enhance the SAP environment to keep business-critical systems running smoothly. You’ll work closely with the Business Applications Manager to resolve SAP issues, support users and analyse processes, delivering practical improvements that boost day-to-day operations across Hyundai and Genesis Motor UK. You’ll operate within our digital ecosystem to drive efficient, cross-functional outcomes and better user experiences. This is a hands-on, collaborative role with a clear impact on system reliability and business performance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, triage and manage SAP incidents and service requests via ServiceNow and JIRA
• Resolve 1st and 2nd line SAP tickets including transaction errors and navigation queries
• Assist in analysing SAP-related requirements and identify system/process improvements
• Investigate recurring SAP issues to identify root causes and implement sustainable resolutions
• Escalate complex SAP issues to internal teams or external partners
• Maintain clear ticket records, resolution notes, and user updates
• Assist with SAP process documentation, user guidance, requirements and technical specs
• Support related business applications, retailer systems and interfaces interacting with SAP or core processes
