QE AI Lead Engineer

Overview

In this role you drive AI-enabled quality engineering across the full SDLC, leading a high-impact QE team. You’ll expand a portfolio of QA assets, mentor peers, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to deliver AI-driven testing and shift-left initiatives. You’ll build and evolve advanced test frameworks, emphasizing cross-functional delivery and measurable quality improvements. This is a hands-on leadership role that shapes how clients benefit from AI-powered QA at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead and expand the Quality Engineering assets and services portfolio
• Mentor and train the team on the latest testing tools and methodologies
• Drive Shift-Left testing and early quality activities in the development lifecycle
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical info to non-technical stakeholders
• Build and govern advanced AI/agentic QA frameworks across the full SDLC
• Champion SDLC efficiencies and track quality metrics to demonstrate impact
• Prospect and implement AI-led testing approaches for client value

Key requirements

• Extensive experience as Senior QE SDET Engineer or Senior Developer
• Breadth across tech stacks including JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C#, Python
• Experience with RAG, Weaviate, OpenAI, Agents, Langchain, Prompt Engineering
• Hands-on product-building experience across the full SDLC
• Experience with multiple automation frameworks (JUnit, Jest, PyTest, NUnit, Appium, WDIO, Selenium, Cypress)
• CI/CD experience (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Docker/AWS, Azure DevOps)
• Understanding of non-functional testing (performance, security, accessibility)
• Mentoring experience and ability to present to C-Suite/clients
