Responsibilities

  • Define system functions and requirements across disciplines to drive product definition
  • Build proof-of-concept prototypes using microcontrollers and 3D-printed parts to shape early direction
  • Guide cross-functional teams on tradeoffs within complex thermal and electromechanical products
  • Develop innovative design solutions for SharkNinja products sold worldwide
  • Define, design, build, and test new products across full lifecycle in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Hands-on lab work to evaluate, test, and refine prototypes and production systems
  • Interpret test results and loop findings into product improvements

Key requirements

  • 5+ years of electro-mechanical systems engineering experience
  • Experience programming microcontrollers (reading sensor data, controlling actuators)
  • 3D CAD modeling experience (CREO or SolidWorks)
  • Familiarity with 3D printing and production processes such as injection molding
  • Strong grasp of mechanical engineering fundamentals and DFM manufacturing techniques
