Digital Engineering Lead- Energy

Overview

In this role you lead Digital Engineering and BIM delivery within a cross-functional team, driving ISO 19650 compliance and innovative project delivery for complex Energy and Resources schemes. You’ll develop and implement digital strategies, mentor teams, and oversee multiple projects from design to execution. The position combines technical leadership with people management and stakeholder engagement to deliver high-quality digital outputs. You will shape how information is managed and modeled across projects, enabling better outcomes for clients and communities.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of Digital Engineering and BIM solutions for complex Energy and Resources projects
• Develop and implement digital strategies and governance (ISO 19650)
• Oversee project execution and digital deliverables across the project lifecycle
• Mentor and manage BIM/Digital Engineering teams and coordinate with senior stakeholders
• Set up and manage CDE, model federation, and clash detection workflows
• Coordinate documentation like EIR, AIR, PIR, and BEP and ensure alignment with project needs
• Engage with cross-functional teams to integrate information management across disciplines
• Drive innovation in digital project delivery and reporting (Power BI)

Key requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline (preferably)
• Experience in BIM, Digital Engineering and ISO 19650 compliance
• Proficiency in Autodesk tools: Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Inventor, ACC
• Experience with Revizto, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Power BI
• Experience leading CDE setup, model federation and clash detection workflows
• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and manage multiple projects
