Overview
In this role you will provide technical leadership for Process Engineers on a major Anglian Water infrastructure programme. You will review and assure process designs to meet safety, quality and governance standards, while driving on-time, sustainable delivery with multidisciplinary teams. You will validate key process outputs such as mass balances, hydraulics, and PFDs/P&IDs, and support queries, supplier input, and team development. Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership to Process Engineers across the project lifecycle
- Review and assure process design deliverables for fitness-for-purpose, compliance and alignment with project outcomes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage design quality and deliver to programme, cost and quality targets
- Validate process outputs (mass balances, sizing, hydraulics, PFDs, control philosophies, P&IDs/3D models) for safety and compliance
- Support design queries, supplier inputs, and team development while championing health, safety, innovation and best practice
Key requirements
- Degree qualified in Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience on water sector assets and capital delivery projects
- Strong knowledge of regulations, standards, and industry codes of practice
- Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing junior engineers
- Chartered status, or actively working towards professional chartership
