Controllers, Non-Financial Regulatory Position Reporting Project Manager, Associate, Birmingham

Overview

In this role, you will lead complex, high-priority projects within a global financial institution to strengthen control and reporting capabilities. You will work closely with Operations, Technology, and Business teams to streamline processes, mitigate risk, and improve efficiency. You will translate regulatory and business requirements into actionable deliverables, including testing and implementation, while maintaining high standards of accuracy and ethics. This is a collaborative, impact-driven position that supports liquidity, capital, and risk management at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, high-priority projects from initiation through delivery with stakeholders across functions
• Conduct business analysis, requirements definition, and user acceptance testing
• Manage ongoing project execution, quality assurance, and status reporting
• Build and maintain relationships with Operations, Technology, and Business stakeholders
• Assess and streamline processes with Operations to mitigate risk and create efficiencies
• Provide guidance on project management tools, methods, and governance across teams
• Help form cross-functional implications of solutions, including costs, risks, and re-use opportunities

Key requirements

• Bachelor degree
• 5 years of professional experience
• 3 years of project management experience
• Experience in regulatory reporting (preferred)
• Proven ability to scope, drive delivery, and achieve results on time and within budget
• Strong analytical and project management skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Experience working across products, regions and functions in financial services (preferred)
• Strong people management and stakeholder influence capabilities
