Senior Product Designer

Overview

In this role, you will help shape the 9fin platform by partnering with customers, PMs, and engineers to define design strategy and deliver intuitive AI-native workflows. You’ll translate complex financial workflows into clear interfaces and work across discovery, research, and prototyping to create high-impact experiences. You’ll own end-to-end design, contribute to the design system, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-growing fintech environment. This is an opportunity to help build a category-defining platform for debt markets and influence how professionals work with AI-generated insights.

Responsibilities

• Shape product vision and design strategy with cross-functional teams
• Synthesize research, feedback, and data to define problems and translate workflows into intuitive experiences
• Run discovery to understand user needs and where technology adds value
• Align work to outcomes and manage prioritisation in high-precision environments
• Design AI-native workflows and translate model outputs into clear, trustworthy interfaces
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering on feedback loops and production evaluation of AI experiences
• Identify opportunities to apply AI capabilities to real problems and prototype new patterns
• Own end-to-end design: flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI
• Contribute to and evolve the design system to support sophisticated, data-heavy workflows
• Communicate design rationale clearly and guide stakeholders in ambiguous territory
