Senior Manager – Technology, Vision, Strategy & Architecture (Financial Services – Banking)

In this Senior Manager role, you will lead architecture initiatives within Deloitte’s TV&A unit to shape technology strategies for banking clients. You work with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise architecture outcomes, guidance on governance, and demand-driven proposals. You’ll influence senior stakeholders and help drive large-scale transformation programmes. Responsibilities

• Manage workstreams on client engagements and monitor market trends in architecture, digital technologies and cloud platforms
• Lead small-to-medium architecture teams to deliver Enterprise Architecture outcomes and technology strategy deliverables
• Define and deliver clients’ architecture vision, options analysis, and design decisions with traceability from requirements to outcomes
• Establish and run architecture governance and assurance, and coach teams in applying principles and standards
• Contribute to architecture methods, assets and reusable collateral to uplift delivery quality
• Support business development through proposals, scope, and estimates aligned to client needs
• Communicate effectively with senior client stakeholders on modern technology and architecture options
• Deliver architecture input across complex change initiatives, shaping target state designs and transition roadmaps
• Contribute to banking, capital markets and investment management propositions and knowledge sharing
• Coach and develop colleagues within the TV&A team for quality delivery and career growth

Key requirements

• Good understanding of financial services businesses and regulatory drivers
• Experience supporting business development activities and building client relationships
• Strong SDLC knowledge with depth across at least 4 domains (Applications, Data, DevOps, EA, Infrastructure, ML/AI, Platforms, Security, Integration, Business Architecture)
• Experience delivering architecture and technology strategy in large-scale banking transformations
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders with evidence-based recommendations
• Experience with financial services applications (core banking, CRM, DMS, BPM, finance platforms) and their integrations
• Experience with modern banking tech (digital banking, cloud, data analytics, AI for onboarding, fintech & regtech concepts)
• Ability to operate as an Enterprise Architect in Banking with depth in one or more banking specialisms
