Manufacturing Training Coordinator – Global Sports Nutrition Brand

Overview

In this role you design and implement clear SOPs and practical training to elevate manufacturing performance. You’ll closely collaborate with Manufacturing Leadership and Technical teams to ensure staff have the knowledge and records needed to perform safely and efficiently. You will identify gaps, drive improvements, and maintain competency matrices and training records. Your work supports GMP, quality, and continuous improvement across the plant in Colchester.

Responsibilities

• Create, review and refine manufacturing SOPs and work instructions
• Deliver engaging practical training, briefings and refresher sessions
• Assess competency and sign off trained teammates
• Maintain training matrices, records and LMS compliance
• Identify skills gaps and partner with Shift Team Leaders to close them
• Review NCRs and quality issues to root-cause training or process gaps
• Collaborate with Technical Team to improve procedures and deliver corrective training
• Support GMP, BRCGS, Health & Safety and audit compliance
• Deliver inductions and mandatory safety training for new/temporary staff
• Analyze training data to identify trends and report progress
• Support wider continuous improvement projects in Manufacturing

Key requirements

• Experience in manufacturing, preferably food, nutrition, FMCG or fast-paced quality-led environments
• Ability to create SOPs and training materials
• Experience delivering practical training to manufacturing teams
• Familiarity with an LMS or digital training system to track progress and compliance
