Overview
In this role you drive a strategic sales agenda for large financial services organizations, building a robust pipeline and closing high-value deals. You become a Neo4j product expert, leading value-driven discoveries and compelling demonstrations with Solutions Engineering. You position graph technology against legacy databases, guiding complex, multi-quarter sales cycles. You collaborate with cloud partners to accelerate banking initiatives, while mentoring teams and ensuring accurate CRM forecasting. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory plan for large FSI institutions to build pipeline and hit sales targets
- Become an expert in Neo4j offerings and lead value-led discovery with demonstrations and compelling proposals
- Position Neo4j against legacy databases using deep financial market knowledge
- Lead complex, solution-based sales cycles with Land & Expand in high-value FSI accounts
- Manage end-to-end sales process from prospecting to closing with new logos and expansions
- Mentor SDRs and Field Marketing for banking-specific target accounts and pipeline support
- Maintain accurate CRM data and adhere to forecasting guidelines (Gong)
- Build partnerships with public cloud providers and ecosystem partners to drive cloud-first banking growth
Key requirements
- 10+ years in enterprise software sales with a track record in Financial Services (FSI)
- Experience managing complex enterprise sales, especially Data Warehousing, AI/ML, or Fraud/Risk Management
- Ability to cultivate C-level relationships with major banks and manage long-term engagements
- Knowledge of open-source commercial models and secure hybrid cloud/SaaS for regulated environments
- Capability to craft banking-specific sales strategies leveraging partners and GTM
- Strong presentation, communication, and organizational skills; building business champions
- Familiarity with MEDDPICC, SPIN, or Challenger Sales and fast-paced markets
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (Solution Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, Professional Services)
- Proven ability to engage CTOs, IT leaders, and end users while coordinating with Solution Architects and partners
