Overview

In this role you lead Endava’s quarterly and annual Group tax reporting for a large, multinational setup within a SOX-controlled IFRS environment. You will own the tax provision cycle, assess IAS 12 compliance, and partner with Finance and external auditors to ensure accurate disclosures. You’ll drive efficiency through standardisation and automation while supporting Pillar Two and CbCR initiatives. This role offers broad global exposure and direct influence on the tax function’s strategy and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Own quarterly and annual Group tax reporting across international entities
  • Prepare and review consolidated current and deferred tax positions
  • Apply IAS 12 accurately across the Group and explain ETR movements
  • Produce robust tax forecasts and scenario modelling
  • Review tax submissions from local Finance and Tax teams; challenge assumptions
  • Act as principal contact for external auditors on Group tax matters
  • Maintain SOX-compliant controls and documentation
  • Drive tax reporting improvement through standardisation and automation
  • Support tax modelling for acquisitions, restructuring and strategic activity
  • Contribute to Pillar Two, Country-by-Country Reporting, and Total Tax Contribution analysis

Key requirements

  • Extensive hands-on experience in Group consolidated tax reporting in a multinational or complex organisation
  • Direct experience of quarterly and annual tax provision processes
  • Strong knowledge of IAS 12
  • Experience in current and deferred tax accounting
  • Experience analysing and explaining ETR movements
  • Experience preparing or reviewing tax disclosures for consolidated financial statements
  • Understanding of interaction between tax reporting, Group accounting and statutory reporting
  • Experience working with external auditors on complex tax accounting matters
  • AC A (ACA) qualification
  • At least four years’ post-qualified experience
