Overview

As Relationships Team Lead, you will guide a field-based ARM team within Flagstone’s UK network, driving deep partner engagement and referral growth. You’ll balance coaching with hands-on relationship work, elevating team performance while managing senior Partner relationships. You’ll help embed Flagstone in advisers’ cash-management thinking, contributing to strategic growth within a major network. This role combines leadership, hands-on collaboration, and commercial impact in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach a four-person ARM team, setting clear expectations and enabling high performance
  • Own regional referral volumes, Partner engagement, and conversion metrics; intervene to improve performance
  • Maintain a regular team rhythm with one-to-ones, field visits, and performance reviews
  • Recruit, onboard and develop ARMs to sustain high performance as partnerships scale
  • Serve as escalation point for ARM issues and complex Partner situations
  • Maintain a portfolio of senior Partners and lead engagement with regional management teams
  • Model high-quality Partner engagement and handle objections, building trust over time
  • Lead Partner-facing training sessions and keep Partners updated on product developments
  • Collaborate with Head of Sales Operations to embed Flagstone in adviser frameworks
  • Provide clear commercial updates and insights to leadership; surface Partner sentiment and product gaps
  • Contribute to the development of engagement plans with network and head office

Key requirements

  • Proven track record leading field-based sales or relationship management teams
  • Ability to balance leadership with personal commercial contributions
  • Experience coaching in a field environment with a focus on growth
  • Strong understanding of adviser Partner networks and corporate distribution partnerships
  • Commercial drive and credibility to engage senior Partners and management
  • Structured, disciplined portfolio management across multiple territories
  • Comfort with field-first work and high communication demands
