Overview

In this role you will lead HSE strategy execution across the EMEA region, aligning site leaders with Rotork’s global HSE agenda. You’ll act as a regional partner to leadership, driving critical risk and process safety management while challenging traditional approaches. You will oversee audits, assurance activities and incident investigations to drive continuous improvement. This position offers high visibility, shaping safety culture and governance across multiple countries within a global organization.

Responsibilities

  • Act as regional HSE partner to leadership, site operations and field teams across EMEA
  • Implement Rotork’s global HSE strategy and governance (ISO 45001/14001/50001)
  • Manage critical risk and process safety, focusing on risk reduction and hierarchy of controls
  • Support operations in high-potential risk areas: transport, hazardous substances, electrical safety, confined spaces, working at height, pressurised systems
  • Conduct and support HSE audits, risk reviews, incident investigations and site engagements across EMEA
  • Analyze data and assurance findings to identify systemic risks and drive improvements
  • Coach, mentor and build HSE capability across the region
  • Engage with site and plant managers and influence stakeholders to drive safety improvements
  • Support HSE governance and reporting to senior leadership and PLC board
  • Facilitate regional HSE networks and liaise with regulators, customers and external stakeholders

Key requirements

  • 10+ years of HSE experience in complex, multinational environments
  • Strong background in critical risk management and process safety in high-hazard sectors
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent with experience in HSE management systems and audit
  • Excellent business partnering, influencing and coaching skills across all levels
  • Pragmatic, risk-based HSE approach with ability to travel up to 30% across EMEA
