Overview

Join Maldon Salt’s FP&A team embedded with Sales & Marketing to deliver credible financial insight and margin analysis that informs pricing, promotions, and demand planning. You will build models and dashboards, explain performance by customer, channel and product, and provide decision-ready commentary for reviews. You’ll partner on promotions, NPD and product range, and challenge plans to improve margin and efficiency. This role supports growth and sustainability across a premium brand with a clear focus on commercial decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Analyse sales, pricing, margin and mix to explain performance and drive action
• Provide decision-ready commentary for management and executive reviews
• Partner with Sales & Marketing on promotions, NPD and product range decisions
• Offer insights and challenge within the demand planning (S&OP) process
• Build models, dashboards and improve reporting (Excel / Power BI)
• Support action, margin improvement and efficient commercial decisions

Key requirements

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified accountant
• Experience in commercial finance / FP&A / business partnering
• FMCG or product-led environment experience preferred
• Strong analytical capability with ability to influence stakeholders
• Advanced Excel and strong modelling; experience with Power BI (or similar)
• Experience managing projects or workstreams across functions
