Overview
You will advise on major development, infrastructure and built environment projects as part of a top-tier construction team. The role combines transactional work across UK and international schemes with collaboration across real estate, planning, banking and corporate groups. You’ll draft and negotiate construction contracts and related documents while supporting developers, funders and occupiers on complex arrangements. This is a client-facing, high-impact position within a supportive, market-leading firm offering clear progression and hybrid working.

Responsibilities
- Advise on development, redevelopment and infrastructure projects
- Draft and negotiate construction contracts, appointments, warranties and security documents
- Collaborate with real estate, planning, banking and corporate teams on large-scale projects
- Support developers, funders, investors and occupiers on complex construction arrangements
- Advise on UK and international projects across commercial, residential and mixed-use schemes
- Manage own caseload with appropriate supervision
- Support senior lawyers on high-value and strategic matters
Key requirements
- 4+ years PQE in transactional construction
- Strong experience advising on built environment and real estate related construction matters
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and technical skills
- Ability to manage a varied and complex workload
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative, proactive and commercially minded approach
