Overview
In this role you lead logistics procurement and country-level business development across Europe, shaping supplier strategy and commercial terms to deliver cost efficiency and reliable service. You’ll oversee customs clearance, trucking, and last-mile delivery, building a scalable logistics network that supports growth and resilience. You work cross-functionally to implement contracts, transitions, and pricing updates, driving performance and operational stability. Your impact lies in optimizing the European logistics footprint and partner ecosystem within a dynamic market.
Responsibilities
- Lead country-level logistics procurement and business development across Europe, managing sourcing, onboarding, negotiating, contracting, and performance across customs clearance, trucking, and last-mile delivery
- Develop procurement strategies and resource allocation aligned with growth and network expansion goals to ensure service reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency
- Drive market analysis, supplier evaluation, benchmarking, and negotiations to optimize pricing, terms, and logistics performance
- Build expertise across customs clearance, transportation, and delivery operations to improve pricing structures and partnership frameworks
- Establish and manage strategic supplier relationships to ensure stable capacity, service quality, and resilience during peak seasons
- Partner with Operations, Product, Finance, Legal, and Compliance to execute contracts, manage transitions, and deliver projects
- Create and optimize a scalable supplier management framework including monitoring, reviews, onboarding, consolidation, and exit management
- Monitor market dynamics, competitor activity, and pricing trends to support strategic sourcing and decision-making
- Identify and mitigate operational, commercial, and compliance risks to strengthen supply continuity and resilience
Key requirements
- 5+ years in logistics, logistics procurement, supply chain management, or related business development
- Familiar with European logistics links and service models (customs clearance, trucking, tail-end distribution) and cost structures
- Strong negotiation, cost awareness, and resource integration abilities; able to lead complex supplier initiatives and drive results
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Legal, Finance, Product, and other stakeholders
