Overview
You will join a long-established Wiltshire law firm to manage a varied commercial property caseload within a supportive department. In this role, you’ll handle acquisitions, disposals, leases, landlord-tenant matters, and property finance, contributing to deal diligence and cross-team collaboration. You will deliver excellent client service, build relationships, and support business development to raise the department’s profile. Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of commercial property matters (freehold/leasehold acquisitions and disposals)
- Prepare and negotiate commercial leases and related documents
- Handle landlord and tenant issues and property finance transactions
- Contribute to property aspects of corporate deals and due diligence
- Deliver strong client service and assist with business development and profile raising for the department
Key requirements
- Around 3+ years PQE in commercial property
- Confident managing own files with minimal supervision
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Solid understanding of LPA 1954, title issues, planning/environmental considerations, SDLT and VAT
- Familiarity with case management systems and Land Registry processes
- Excellent communication and client handling skills
- Strong attention to detail and risk awareness
