Overview

In this role you oversee procurement and resource management to ensure site output stays on programme and within budget. You’ll coordinate with Sales, Design, Planning and Production to secure materials, labour and plant, and monitor supplier performance. The role involves negotiating with suppliers, managing stock and quality, and supporting cost effectiveness across departments. You will drive on-site resource planning and regulatory awareness to maintain project standards and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resource management across sites and liaise with Sales, Design and Planning on specifications, costs, and material availability
• Plan and quantify materials and labour; prepare material schedules from drawings and adjust for revisions
• Negotiate and place orders with material suppliers on competitive tenders; manage plant hire and maintain a plant register
• Oversee on-site stock, monitor material quality and supplier performance, and provide feedback on quality or performance issues
• Monitor invoicing procedures with Finance and resolve related issues
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to improve cost effectiveness
• Ensure compliance with building regulations and quality standards; attend relevant meetings and site visits
• Support site management with procurement and specification changes as required by the Growing Wiser process and company requirements
