Software Development Engineer – Test, Device Partnerships, Prime Video

Overview

In this role you will ensure Prime Video delivers a seamless, high-quality experience on living room devices across the globe. You’ll work closely with device partners and cross-functional teams to test features, build robust test suites, and maintain a strong certification standard. You will leverage AI to speed up and improve test results, shaping how millions of customers watch on TVs and set-top boxes. This is a fast-paced, impact-focused opportunity to contribute to Prime Video’s growth and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Test Prime Video features on living room devices (TVs, set-top boxes)
• Perform manual test execution on devices
• Collaborate with device partners during testing
• Design and develop the test-suite for Prime Video features
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to develop, maintain and fix tests (manual and automated)
• Collaborate to maintain a high-quality Prime Video certification process
• Leverage AI to improve speed and quality of tests

Key requirements

• Experience programming with Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• Experience in penetration testing and vulnerability assessment
• Experience in platform-level security mitigations for Linux and Windows
• Experience in professional software development (non-internship)
• Experience building test automation frameworks and tools
