Overview
As Associate Director for Scotland infrastructure projects, you will lead and coordinate project activities, ensure governance and delivery standards, and drive health & safety, risk, and quality performance. You will help win new work and build a team of Project Managers, while maintaining strong client interfaces. You’ll work across the project lifecycle to turn complex challenges into successful outcomes. This role offers impact through shaping delivery for major infrastructure initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
- Define overall project success criteria (time, cost, technical, performance)
- Ensure awareness of quality, safety, health, and environment issues by line managers
- Establish project governance, processes, and systems
- Create detailed project plans and manage procurement of resources
- Lead cross-functional project team and apply performance management techniques
- Manage change control and project finances
- Oversee project communications and client/interface activities
- Prepare formal progress reports and maintain client/consultant interfaces
- Identify opportunities for new business with existing clients and assist bid production
- Contribute to knowledge management and process improvements within the firm
Key requirements
- NEC accredited Project Manager
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering/Construction
- Experience working on major Highways projects
