Linux Infrastructure Engineer

Overview

In this role you will support, maintain and improve the client’s core network and infrastructure underpinning a leading execution management platform. You’ll work within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team and collaborate with sales and software engineering to ensure high availability for mission-critical systems. Expect exposure to global datacentres, customer-focused support, and efforts to automate deployment and improve reliability. Responsibilities

• Respond to infrastructure and network inquiries from clients
• Support customers and resolve server and network connectivity issues
• Improve documentation of support policies and procedures
• Analyze server failures and implement preventive solutions
• Automate server deployment
• Deploy, monitor and maintain globally distributed datacentre infrastructure

Key requirements

• STEM Degree
• 1-3 years of experience supporting mission-critical infrastructure
• Linux experience
• Routing and switching experience
