Overview
In this role you will lead engineering delivery for residential groundworks and infrastructure packages, ensuring works meet drawings, specs, and safety standards. You’ll collaborate with site teams to maintain quality and programme, solving technical issues and producing accurate surveys and records. The position offers exposure to major residential projects and a clear pathway for career progression within a growing contractor.

Responsibilities
- Carry out setting out for roads, sewers, drainage, foundations, and associated infrastructure works
- Ensure all works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and site requirements
- Produce accurate site surveys and as-built records
- Monitor and maintain quality assurance procedures on site
- Coordinate with Site Managers and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery
- Identify and resolve technical issues as they arise
- Maintain accurate site records and engineering documentation
- Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and company standards
- Assist with planning and sequencing of works to meet programme requirements
Key requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer within residential groundworks or civil engineering
- Strong understanding of roads, drainage, foundations, and infrastructure packages
- Experience using GPS and robotic total station equipment
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Good understanding of QA procedures and as-built documentation
- CSCS Card required
- Relevant Civil Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree preferred)
