Overview
In this role you will shape and grow the Supply Chain Design & Operation advisory offering, connecting master-planning and operational design with policy, regulation and commercial strategy. You’ll work across multidisciplinary teams to translate complex supply chain challenges into practical, scalable solutions and help establish a new practice area. You will engage clients, lead or contribute to projects, and support business development to mature the vertical. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of design, operations and growth.

Responsibilities
- Develop the Supply Chain Design & Operation offer, defining methodologies and growth priorities
- Identify priority client opportunities and support proposals, bids and early delivery
- Advise on master-planning, operational design and site or network concepts
- Build and maintain trusted client relationships as a supply chain design advisor
- Lead or contribute to workstreams within engagements, ensuring scope, timeline and quality
- Assess facilities, land use, infrastructure and operating models for growth and commercial outcomes
- Translate technical design questions into strategic considerations including market feasibility and business case
- Act as integration point across design, policy, regulatory, commercial and sector specialists
- Define proposition, methods and capability foundations to scale the vertical
- Contribute as seller-doer, combining BD with advisory input, thought leadership and market engagement
Key requirements
- Strong systems thinking with breadth beyond pure master-planning
- Ability to connect design decisions with operations, commercial outcomes, policy and growth ambitions
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and shaping opportunities in an emerging space
- Strong communication skills and collaborative problem-solving; credibility with senior stakeholders
- Experience in management consulting, master-planning, logistics infrastructure, industrial development, operational design or commercial leadership
- Understanding of end-to-end supply chain issues and how network design and transformation improve performance
- Ability to link technical design thinking with commercial value and implementation context
- Experience working with senior stakeholders on complex development or transformation challenges
- Cross-disciplinary collaboration across advisory, technical and sector teams
- Track record in business development, proposition building or growing a new service line
- Exposure to digital/analytics, automation or planning tools is beneficial but not essential
