Senior Technical Product Manager – Financial Data Distribution

Overview

In this role you will lead the end-to-end product strategy for STOXX’s index data distribution, shaping multi-channel delivery, entitlements, and access controls. You will bridge business outcomes and technical execution, partnering with clients, product, and engineering teams to mature the platform. You will own the roadmaps and tradeoffs across scalability, security, and user experience, influencing pricing and go-to-market through cross-functional governance. The role offers strategic ownership in a dynamic environment, with opportunities to drive automation and data quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve data distribution product strategy and target architecture
• Lead structured discovery with clients, business, and technology teams; translate needs into requirements and backlog
• Prioritize backlog based on value, risk, and technical dependencies; define sprint goals and guide engineering teams
• Manage stakeholder engagement with client service, commercial, and operations; present roadmaps to leadership; support go-to-market plans
• Define KPIs for availability, latency, data quality, entitlement accuracy, and customer satisfaction; drive automation and observability improvements

Key requirements

• 7+ years in software or data product management
• 3+ years in technically complex, platform-oriented products
• Strong understanding of index/data distribution architectures, APIs, entitlement models, and access controls
• Experience defining API/FTP/Web distribution requirements
• Ability to work with senior engineers and architects on design decisions
• English proficiency
