Workday Integrations Manager

Overview

In this role you lead the delivery of Workday integration programs for multiple clients, guiding cross-functional teams through design, build, testing, deployment, and post-production support. You collaborate with client and internal stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable integration solutions and ensure delivery excellence. You act as a senior technical mentor and escalation point, shaping integration strategies and maintaining governance. The position offers impact across HCM, Payroll, and Financials with a focus on quality, scalability, and customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee delivery of Workday integration solutions across HCM, Payroll, and Financials with emphasis on quality, scalability, and performance
• Guide full lifecycle delivery: design, build, test, deployment, post-production support
• Proactively manage project risks, issues, and dependencies with Engagement Managers
• Provide direction on integration strategies, design approaches, and best practices aligned to client requirements
• Ensure consistency with methodologies, governance, and architecture standards
• Review and validate integration designs (Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, REST/SOAP) for robustness
• Offer hands-on guidance on complex integrations, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
• Serve as senior escalation point for technical delivery challenges
• Build and manage client relationships across business and IT stakeholders
• Facilitate design workshops, delivery reviews, and issue resolution sessions
• Ensure transparency in delivery status, risks, and outcomes
• Escalation point to maintain client confidence and satisfaction
• Manage resource allocation and utilization across projects
• Forecast demand and align team skills to ensure optimal delivery
• Lead, mentor, and coach consultants on delivery execution and client engagement
• Support development through shadowing, feedback, and continuous learning
• Foster a delivery-focused, high-performance culture
• Ensure consistency and quality across deliverables and documentation
• Promote adoption of delivery frameworks, accelerators, and reusable assets
• Contribute to continuous improvement of integration delivery practices
• Support sales activities including estimation validation, SOW reviews
• Participate in proposals, orals, and solution discussions as required
• Identify opportunities for additional client value and service expansion

Key requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in Workday integrations with a strong delivery and implementation focus
• Proven experience leading multiple concurrent projects or workstreams in a consulting environment
• Hands-on knowledge of Workday integration technologies (Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI, RaaS, REST/SOAP)
• Experience translating business requirements into scalable integration solutions
• Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and drive delivery outcomes
• Strong understanding of integration frameworks, patterns, and data flows
• Experience supporting sales pursuits, estimations, and SOW development
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Minimal travel required but willing to travel on-site as needed
• Eligible for SC Clearance – UK resident for last five years and legally entitled to work in the UK
