In this role you shape client transformation through enterprise security design, translating requirements into secure architectures across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments. Responsibilities
- Translate security requirements into enterprise architecture patterns at conceptual/logical levels across SDLC phases
- Define strategic, tactical, and operational security architecture options aligned to business goals
- Design IT, network and security principles for baseline and target architectures
- Develop security control architectures mapping to conceptual and contextual architectures
- Oversee validation, documentation, assessment, and authorization processes for information systems
- Lead adoption of Cyber/Technology Security Controls Frameworks (NIST/ISO/ISF/COBIT) to implement solutions
- Demonstrate subject matter knowledge in security domains (e.g., PAM/IAM, Cloud, IoT) and guide client journeys
- Engage with Enterprise Architects, business leaders, and technologists to foster relationships and drive delivery
- Coordinate discovery and audits to extract findings and recommendations
- Ensure architectures address governance, risk, and regulatory requirements (UK standards)
- Provide advisory support for security programmes or projects and ensure alignment with business processes
Key requirements
- Broad security consulting background
- Must have worked in a Telecoms environment
- Multi-year client-facing project and presentation experience in a professional services setting
- Strong ability to operate in demanding environments with delivery focus
- Influential with ability to build relationships with delivery partners and stakeholders at all levels
- Experience interfacing with Enterprise Architects, business people, and technologists
- Ongoing architectural and security qualifications (e.g., Open CA, TOGAF, SABSA, CCSK, CCSP, etc.)
- Willingness to obtain Defence Vetting (SC) if required for Public Sector work
