RFP Writer, Asset Management

Overview

In this role, you support Northern Trust Asset Management’s international RFP workflow for the EMEA and APAC regions. You will coordinate responses to RFPs, RFIs, and due diligence questionnaires, ensuring timely, high‑quality outputs. You’ll work with multiple departments to capture our products, strategies and differentiators, while maintaining robust audit trails. The position offers exposure to cross‑regional clients and a chance to shape the efficiency and accuracy of the RFP process. This is a hands‑on role for a detail‑m oriented professional looking to grow in asset management and client‑facing diligence.

Responsibilities

• Follow established RFP processes to deliver standard and non-standard RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs.
• Create robust audit trails and review content for quality.
• Manage multiple deadlines simultaneously and track performance metrics.
• Maintain and update the Qvidian database for EMEA and APAC; ensure content stays current and regionally relevant.
• Assist with consultant databases and invoice processes; support ad-hoc requests from the RFP Manager and wider team.

Key requirements

• Over two years of Asset Management RFP experience.
• Strong interest in asset management topics.
• Analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
• Ability to interpret financial data and work with statistical information.
• Ability to work under short deadlines with urgency and initiative.
• Good interpersonal skills and a team-oriented approach.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
