Responsibilities
- Lead a finance team of ~10 across two management layers and supervise four team leaders in reporting, transactional finance and business control
- Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting processes
- Maintain strong financial controls, governance and risk management frameworks
- Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, systems and team structures
- Partner with senior finance and business stakeholders
- Support budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning activities
- Oversee finance operations across multiple jurisdictions with a focus on the UK
- Mentor and develop junior staff to foster a high-performance, collaborative culture
- Support ongoing organisational growth and change initiatives
Key requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA preferred)
- Big 4 trained and/or audit background desirable
- Typically 5-7+ years post-qualified experience
- Experience as Financial Controller or senior controllership leader
- Experience leading larger finance teams and managing managers
- Strong financial reporting and controls experience
- Financial services experience preferred or other regulated/complex environments
- Ability to operate in international/matrix environments
