Fidessa Application Support Analyst – up to 100,000 – Hybrid

Overview

In this role you will support Fidessa-based equities trading platforms within a global BFSI organisation. You will work closely with traders and technology teams to maintain stability, resolve issues, and drive improvements across front-office systems. The role covers the full trade lifecycle and regulatory/system changes, offering exposure to large-scale, modern trading environments. This is a hands-on, impact-focused opportunity to shape performance and reliability of critical platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance Fidessa-based front office trading platforms
• Collaborate with traders and technology teams to resolve issues
• Drive improvements to stability and performance of business-critical systems
• Support regulatory and system changes across the trade lifecycle
• Participate across the full trade lifecycle to enable smooth trading operations

Key requirements

• Fidessa experience
• Equities / Global Markets knowledge
• Understanding of FIX Protocol
• Java & Linux experience
• Scripting (Python, Shell, or TCL)
• Experience with SQL databases (Sybase / MS SQL)
• Messaging frameworks (IBM MQ, TIBCO or similar)
