Asset Management Associate

Overview

In this role, you will contribute to the management and performance optimisation of operational renewable energy assets within a real assets platform. You will work closely with experienced Asset Managers and technical teams to monitor performance, analyse data, and support value-enhancing decisions. The position offers hands-on exposure to solar PV and broader renewable energy assets, with scope to develop technical and commercial analysis capabilities. This is a collaborative, growth-oriented opportunity in a leading investment-manager setting.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day management of operational renewable energy assets
• Monitor performance, availability, production, and KPIs
• Analyse performance data to identify issues or underperformance
• Collaborate with O&M providers and contractors to resolve issues
• Assist with asset performance reporting and operational activity reporting
• Support contract, maintenance and performance reviews
• Contribute to initiatives improving asset availability, reliability and generation
• Perform technical and commercial analysis across a renewable energy asset portfolio
• Collaborate with senior Asset Managers and broader investment and technical teams

Key requirements

• 1–2 years’ professional experience in renewable energy
• Strong interest in solar PV and renewable energy
• Technical, engineering or analytical background
• Experience with asset performance, O&M, engineering, SCADA or operational data (advantageous)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interpret technical and operational information
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Willingness to develop a career within renewable energy asset management
