Senior Crystal Reports Technical Consultant

Overview

Senior Technical Consultant to lead technical delivery of implementations and configurations for fund market clients. You will run projects end-to-end, collaborate with presales, and deliver expert infrastructure design for rapid ROI. The role combines greenfield planning with hands-on report development using SQL and Crystal Reports, within a fast-paced, ownership-driven environment. You work closely with clients and Professional Services to ensure successful outcomes and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Run own implementation projects from day one
• Create report templates per client requirements and best practices using SQL
• Liaise between clients and Professional Services for project deliverables
• Deliver proactive technical assistance in design and delivery of infrastructure
• Work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Manage multiple projects of varying scale under tight deadlines

Key requirements

• 3 years commercial experience in implementation or consultancy
• Experience client facing
• Microsoft SQL Server based skills
• PL/SQL
• Experience of Crystal Reports
• Ideally scripting ability (Perl, shell, Bash, Python or Korn)
• Understanding of the development lifecycle
• Degree in Computer Science or related field
