Senior Quantity Surveyor (CI&U – PMCM)

Overview

In this role you contribute to pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying and Cost & Commercial Management across building and infrastructure projects. You will work within the PMCM team to support delivery, commercial governance and value across public and private clients. The position offers leadership, mentoring and potential bid activities, with opportunities to apply MRICS/Assoc RICS qualifications and drive project outcomes. Responsibilities

• Provide QS/Cost and Commercial Management across project life-cycle (pre- and post-contract)
• Estimate, cost planning, procurement and cost assurance activities
• Manage post-contract financial/commercial reporting and governance
• Deliver QS/commercial projects or lead a QS/commercial team (depending on seniority)
• Mentor staff, bid writing and winning work
• Represent WSP UK at industry events and manage client/stakeholder relationships

Key requirements

• MRICS or Assoc RICS or working towards a professional qualification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience in QS/Cost and Commercial competencies
• Where applicable, demonstrable management and project leadership experience at senior level
• Willingness to travel to sites, client offices and other locations
