Overview

In this role, you will lead the Insurance Legal Entity Structuring workstream within Deloitte’s Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory practice. You’ll shape target legal entity structures for insurers, coordinating cross-jurisdictional teams to deliver regulatory-compliant reorganisations and Day 1 readiness. You will work with senior client stakeholders to drive multi-disciplinary initiatives that align entity setups with strategic objectives. This is a high-impact opportunity to influence regulatory outcomes, drive efficiency, and mentor others in a global advisory environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client projects and manage scope, engagement plans, and deliverables
  • Oversee engagement financials and ensure high-quality outputs
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Tax, Technology & Data, Regulatory, Legal, People, Actuarial, Accounting) across jurisdictions
  • Develop and maintain deep industry relationships and knowledge
  • Contribute to practice growth through knowledge sharing and training
  • Lead internal practice development activities, methodologies, and points of view
  • Build a network of contacts across Deloitte and client ecosystems
  • Lead and develop proposals for new client opportunities and account initiatives

Key requirements

  • Advisory, regulatory, or internal project experience in insurance
  • Strong understanding of insurance and risk/regulatory considerations
  • Knowledge of regulatory environment and governance principles for insurers
  • Proven project management skills and ability to manage large data sets and financials
  • Experience delivering multi-disciplinary, high-profile transformation engagements
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Experience mentoring junior staff and leading teams
  • Creative thinking and ability to challenge status quo to meet ambitious goals
