Overview
In this role you will join a busy, reputable commercial real estate team within a regional law firm on the South Coast. You will handle a varied caseload across property acquisitions, disposals, and real estate finance, while supporting lenders and investors. You’ll work closely with developers, investors and occupiers, managing leases and landlord/tenant matters and exploring niche pension scheme transactions. The position emphasizes client relationship management, business development, and contributing to the practice’s growth and reputation.

Responsibilities
- Advise on acquisition and disposal of commercial property
- Support real estate finance matters for lenders and borrowers
- Handle landlord and tenant work including drafting and negotiating leases, renewals, licences and assignments
- Develop niche expertise in pension schemes (SIPPs and SASSs)
- Engage in client relationship management and business development to support firm growth
Key requirements
- 1-3 years’ PQE with solid CRE experience
- Ability to manage a range of property transactions with confidence
- Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and time management
- Experience in development or investment work would be beneficial but not essential
