Lead Project Planner

Overview

In this role you drive the overall project schedule for a large subsea project, ensuring quality and on-time delivery. You work closely with planning and execution teams to keep the schedule aligned with scope and risks are mitigated. You provide visibility through lookaheads, risk/opportunity assessments, and actionable reports to support project decisions. You liaise with customers to communicate progress and challenges, while advancing integrated planning practices that enable on-budget delivery. Responsibilities

• Own the overall project schedule management, ensuring logic, clarity, and scope reflection.
• Coordinate with product line planners, engineering planners, and execution functions (engineering, procurement, manufacturing) to ensure schedule quality.
• Support project management with future activity lookaheads, risk and mitigation actions, and schedule opportunities.
• Provide relevant reports to project management to aid on-time and on-budget execution.
• Interact with customers to provide schedule updates and discuss current challenges and opportunities.
• Adhere to approved processes and drive new initiatives for fully integrated planning.

Key requirements

• Bachelor or Master degree or relevant experience
• Experience in planning, preferably in oil and gas/subsea or large-scale mechanical manufacturing/controls environment
• Knowledge of Oracle MRP is a plus
• Ability to interpret project status and link schedule to execution reality
• Ability to identify risks and opportunities in the schedule and drive actions
• Strong expertise in planning large projects and using Primavera P6
