Overview
As Programme Manager, you will lead an integrated plan that harmonises the Future Delivery Strategy with the Capital Delivery Change Portfolio, guiding senior stakeholders and delivery partners through a coherent transformation programme. You will shape a single strategic roadmap that links change, capability development, and client-model evolution, while establishing governance and ensuring outcomes meet scope, timescales, and objectives. This role offers high-impact work at executive level, driving decisive planning, interdependency management, and measurable business outcomes within a dynamic, safety‑conscious culture.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage an integrated plan for the Future Delivery Strategy and Capital Delivery Change Portfolio
- Create and maintain a single strategic roadmap tying business change, capability development, client model transformation, and delivery needs
- Establish programme governance, reporting, and decision forums
- Align strategic objectives with change initiatives and operational delivery priorities
- Ensure programme outcomes meet scope, timescales and business objectives
- Consolidate multiple workstreams into a coherent portfolio view
- Identify and manage dependencies, risks, opportunities, and conflicts across change activities
- Facilitate integrated delivery plans and implementation roadmaps
- Support prioritisation of investments and resource allocation
- Develop recommendations for organizational, process, governance, and capability changes
- Engage with Executive Directors, Senior Leaders, Programme Sponsors, and delivery partners
- Facilitate workshops and planning sessions to build consensus and alignment
- Communicate complex information clearly to senior audiences
- Oversee change management, communications, engagement, and adoption requirements
- Drive momentum across stakeholder groups and change initiatives
Key requirements
- Degree qualified (or on track to achieve) in Business, Project Management, Engineering, Management, Communications, or a related discipline
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
