Overview

In this role you will support a global insurance finance function with broad exposure to financial reporting, planning, and regulatory tasks. You will work within a high-performing team to provide underwriting performance analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and balance sheet reviews, helping to drive accurate reporting across multiple entities. Responsibilities

  • Support quarterly underwriting performance commentary and financial analysis.
  • Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting and long-term strategic planning processes.
  • Contribute to group, regulatory and management reporting requirements.
  • Support balance sheet reviews and financial performance reporting.
  • Assist with statutory accounts preparation across multiple legal entities.
  • Perform financial reviews and credit assessments of insurance intermediaries.
  • Work closely with senior finance stakeholders on ad hoc projects and analysis.

Key requirements

  • ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified or actively studying
  • Previous insurance, reinsurance or Lloyd’s market experience is essential
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting and planning processes
  • Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUPs, SUMIFS and Power Query
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business
  • Prior practice experience would be advantageous
