Contracts Manager (Main Contractor) | Permanent | Oxford

Overview

In this role you will lead contract delivery for a growing Oxford region-based main contractor. You’ll oversee projects up to £15m, balancing new build and refurbishment work across multiple sectors. You will work closely with clients and on-site teams to maintain performance, quality and programme. This is a chance to shape regional growth and take ownership of multiple projects within a respected business. You’ll bring energy, ambition and strong client-facing leadership to drive successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple projects up to £15m across sectors
• Coordinate contract delivery between on-site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
• Maintain client relationships and manage expectations
• Ensure programme, cost and quality targets are met
• Support regional growth initiatives in the Oxford area
• Communicate progress and issues to stakeholders in a timely manner

Key requirements

• Background with a reputable Main Contractor
• Proven track record overseeing projects up to £15m
• New build and refurbishment experience
• Able to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Strong client-facing skills
• High energy and ambition
• Willingness to commute to Oxford daily
