Responsibilities

• Develop process engineering solutions for clean water and wastewater projects
• Perform and review process calculations, mass balances and hydraulic assessments
• Own technical work packages and ensure quality and timely delivery
• Support design development from feasibility to construction
• Contribute to treatment optimisation and asset improvement programmes
• Assist site investigations and performance testing
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical, environmental, and hydraulic specialists
• Engage with clients to capture requirements and provide practical advice
• Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute to technical development
• Contribute to bids, frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives

Key requirements

• Experience in process engineering within water, wastewater or related sectors
• Hands-on experience with process calculations, mass balances, hydraulic assessments
• Ability to own technical tasks within multidisciplinary projects
• Good understanding of UK water industry challenges and standards
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
