Civil Engineer – Water

Overview

In this role you will contribute to the delivery of civil engineering designs for water sector projects within a dynamic Cardiff team. You will collaborate across disciplines to meet project goals, navigate Water Authority approvals, and support SuDS initiatives. You’ll manage multiple projects to ensure timely delivery while maintaining clear stakeholder communication. The position offers a path toward professional accreditation and active development in a forward‑thinking water infrastructure environment. • Deliver Civil Engineering designs for water sector projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional team to meet project goals
• Ensure compliance with Water Authority approval processes

Key requirements

• Experience in the Water Industry
• Civil Engineering degree
• Progression toward or willingness to achieve Professional Qualification with ICE or CIWEM
• Proficiency in 3D design and modelling using MicroDrainage and/or InfoDrainage
• Ability to manage concurrent projects effectively
• Strong initiative and methodical approach to work
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team
