Overview

As part of the strategic product delivery team, you will shape user-centred digital experiences for a proprietary sourcing platform. You translate research into concrete design directions and actionable requirements, collaborating across product, engineering and design to deliver intuitive, accessible interfaces. You’ll drive AI-enabled UX features and validate designs with usability testing, ensuring evidence-based decisions. This role offers impact through improving how stakeholders shop and source across the supply chain.

Responsibilities

  • Own quantitative research programs to understand user needs, behaviours, and pain points to guide product direction
  • Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes translating research into intuitive experiences
  • Design UX for AI/ML-powered features as part of the digital/data science roadmap
  • Plan and conduct usability tests to evaluate design effectiveness and identify improvements
  • Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and UI designers to ensure feasible, well-defined UX requirements
  • Produce ongoing UX documentation, journey maps, and research summaries
  • Communicate design rationale to stakeholders and advocate for user-centred practices across the organisation

Key requirements

  • Experience conducting user research via interviews, surveys, and usability evaluations
  • Ability to translate insights into personas and journey maps with actionable design recommendations
  • Proven skills in wireframing, prototyping, and user flows (e.g., Figma)
  • Strong grounding in UX principles, usability heuristics, and accessibility standards
  • Experience running usability tests, analyzing results, and iterating designs
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams in agile environments
  • Degree or equivalent and 7+ years of relevant experience
