Overview

In this role you lead a cross-functional IT infrastructure support team to ensure reliable, scalable technology for game development. You’ll coordinate daily workloads, oversee onboarding/offboarding, and drive improvements in processes while maintaining security and disaster recovery readiness. You’ll partner with global studios to keep systems available and aligned with the company’s mission to deliver high-quality games. This is a hands-on, leadership-focused role with a strong impact on operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Infrastructure Support Engineers team; conduct performance reviews and foster growth
  • Coordinate daily support workload; set priorities and allocate tasks
  • Log, categorize, prioritize, and assign tickets; escalate complex issues appropriately
  • Oversee onboarding/offboarding and equipment provisioning (workstations, laptops, etc.)
  • Manage device deployment with Microsoft Intune; oversee asset inventory and license records
  • Identify recurring issues and implement process improvements, documentation, and standard procedures
  • Provide training and guidance on IT operations and procedures to the Support Team
  • Participate in change management; support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
  • Maintain monitoring systems to ensure system availability and reliability
  • Contribute to IT infrastructure upgrades and migrations; ensure IT security best practices

Key requirements

  • Experience leading an IT support team with workload coordination and staff development
  • Strong IT service management knowledge: ticket ownership, prioritization, escalation, incident and request handling, service quality
  • Hands-on Active Directory administration (users, groups, permissions, Group Policy)
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace administration
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Intune or similar endpoint management platform
  • Experience coordinating user onboarding/offboarding and IT equipment deployment
  • Background managing IT asset inventories and software license records
  • Knowledge of infrastructure operations: monitoring, backups, disaster recovery, change management
  • Good understanding of IT security standards and best practices
  • Strong organizational and multi-priority management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain technical info to diverse users
  • Flexibility to work outside normal hours for upgrades or migrations
