Overview

As a Principal Salesforce Engineer, you will lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure Salesforce solutions within a leading asset management environment. You will collaborate with architects, product teams, and stakeholders to shape platform strategy and engineering best practices. You’ll tackle enterprise-scale integration challenges using APIs and MuleSoft, and drive modern Salesforce capabilities to deliver high-impact outcomes. This role offers influence over platform direction and the chance to mentor engineers while impacting a critical business domain.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of scalable Salesforce solutions
  • Collaborate with architects, product teams, and stakeholders to align on technical direction
  • Shape platform strategy and engineering best practices
  • Deliver solutions leveraging Apex, LWC, Flows and other Salesforce capabilities
  • Lead enterprise integrations using APIs, MuleSoft, and event-driven architectures
  • Promote DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and code quality
  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to platform standards and technical roadmap

Key requirements

  • Deep expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flows
  • Strong experience with platform architecture and enterprise integrations
  • Proven track record in DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and code quality
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to technical standards
  • Financial Services or Asset Management experience is highly desirable
